WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

1- pre-order the photo books
Books are in the process of being created and will be available (if all goes as planned), at the end of 2009. For this initial printing, only a limited number will be printed. However, it is now possible to pre-order the books before they are available. To ensure you are one of the owners of the photo books, we are now offering a special pre-order option to everyone who has shown their support for these projects from the start. By pre-ordering the photo books, you are

* ensuring you will receive a copy
* supporting animal rescue (the same percentage goes to the animal rescue of your choosing if you buy now or buy later)
* AND helping to fund the high initial printing costs of these books (in other words, you are making this project happen, by fronting the initial printing costs, and helping even more money to be raised for animal rescue in the process)

2- be a part of the solution
Please, if nothing else, take the following steps towards helping to control pet overpopulation and the number of pets who are euthanized each day by:

* spaying and neutering your pets
* adopting (not buying) your next pet - try a local shelter or animal rescue group

3- businesses can get involved, too, by becoming a sponsor of the projects or by hosting a photo event
Please email for more information if you are interested in becoming a project sponsor, or if you are interested in hosting a "get your pet photographed" day at your place of business. I will be photographing at local pet boutiques and pet businesses all across the U.S. The money raised through sponsorship and through the pet photography days will go towards the funding of the projects and the initial printing costs of the books. Sponsors and hosts will be acknowledged on this site, on the blog, in the newsletter and, ultimately, in the printed books.

4- shop at our store or become an affilitate of the store
You can also support animal rescue by shopping at our store or by joining our affiliate program. Animal rescue groups, being an affiliate of our store is a great way to fundraise and will require very little effort on your part.

5- have your rescue group support us
Animal rescue groups can also support us by joining our affiliate program. Being an affiliate of our store is a great way to fundraise for your rescue with very little effort on your part. If your group is interested in helping to raise money for themselves by selling the photo books, please send me an email to find out more.

6- get photographed for the books - **WAITING LIST ONLY**
My current tour of the U.S. and Canada is booked for families looking to be photographed in the photo books. Please send me an email if you would like to be added to the waiting list for future photo book project dates.

However, I am still looking for the following:

* animal shelters, animal rescue groups and animal sanctuaries whose staff/volunteers would like to be photographed and interviewed for either book

7- spread the word
The only way this project will be of any value is if people know about it. Please help spread the word by:

* sending people to this site
* sending people to the blog
* buying bumper stickers and t-shirts from our shop and proudly displaying them

* tag this site (and the blog) on stumbleupon, digg or delicious
